London Indoor Games 2025 25-26 January 2025
This weekend SS Athletics Competed at the indoor 2 day event competing against over 900 athletes from clubs all around London and the South East of England!
While we had multiple experienced atheltes competing from our under 13s up to under 17s we also had new athletes competing for the club for the first time.
Over the 2 days our athletes not only set new Pb's but went on toe set new club records for the club!
Dakota from our Under 17 Women set a new club record beating her existing club record in the 60m hurdles by .17s set late last year Dakota has been making huge strides and great improvements striving to reach her 9s target!
Zara in the under 13's set a new pb and beat the existing club record she also set last December in the 60m sprints by 0.11s
In the Under 15 girls our new athlete Rita also set a new club record with 8.58s in the 60m beating the previous record by 0.16s
In a sport where 0.01 can be the difference between first and second these athletes have made great improvements and we cant wait to see what the future brings for them and the club !
